
FSD (FIELD SUPPORT DESK) Repair Coordinator

Job Purpose and Function:
- Successfully organize, coordinate, schedule, direct, execute, and manage all repairs requested through the Field Support Desk.
- Deal with cost of the Warranty Program and warranty claims of vessels.
- Interface with Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Representatives, Vessel Crew, Equipment Suppliers, Vendors, and Subcontractors in planning and correction of all Help Tickets.
- Provide feedback to Quality Assurance, Engineering and Manufacturing on recurring design and production issues.
- Review warranty tracking efforts and Help Tickets process.
Job Requirements:
- BS Degree in Engineering
- 5 years minimum of marine construction experience (or an Associate’s Degree with 10 years of marine construction experience).
- Experience with interpreting customer requirements and working effectively with team resources, equipment suppliers and the customers in carrying out all Help Ticket related issues.
