Responsibilities:
Serve as a spacecraft lead, responsible for all analysis and testing from program inception to launch. Professional authority in spacecraft dynamics and stress analysis. Collaborate in preliminary and advanced spacecraft structural studies and prepare portions of engineering proposals. Conceive and develop solutions to spacecraft analytical, design and test problems that programs experience. Analyze and resolve failures in test and serve. Assure continuity of design features from advanced design through contract completion. Write major portions of complex specifications and engineering reports as a result of advance studies, special engineering investigations and similar activities.
Qualifications:
BS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred) with a minimum 7-10 years experience.
Candidate Must Possess the Following Skills:
- FEMAP/NASTRAN experience
- Static and dynamic analysis and test experience and familiarity with MS Office required
- Background in structural analysis required with experience in structural dynamics
- Experience performing structural analysis, design, or test of one complex structural components, and functional systems of company products.
